The Mission and Mandate of New Media Now is to advocate, promote and support emerging New Media Professionals in Manitoba, establishing Winnipeg as a recognized center for creative and commercial New Media production.

New Media Now believes in exacting positive and meaningful change in the City of Winnipeg.

Advocating Promoting and Supporting from Within.

Winnipeg has always been a centre for media arts and culture in Canada, and known around the world as a hot bed for emerging, creative, New Media talent. Whether it be video production, performing arts, music, or creative writing, Winnipeg continues to produce some of the most important independent creative thinkers and innovators in Canada, in part, shaping Canadian popular culture at large.

New Media Now will actively pursue emerging New Media talent in Winnipeg, providing the opportunity for New Media graduates and professionals the opportunity to gain positive and meaningful experience and employment in the emerging New Media Industry.

Providing Winnipeg’s young, emerging creative New Media work force an avenue for creative employment is paramount to sustaining and growing a viable and dynamic local New Media Industry.
